In August of 1985 Phil and Connie Mag founded Ambience Furs, in Prairie
Village, Kansas. Their theory was to provide their customers with the
finest quality furs available at the lowest prices possible. This has
made them the areas only upper line furrier, traveling the world to find
the finest furs at the best value.
In December 1998 they purchased a building and opened their new
location in April 1999 in Westwood, Kansas a suburb of Kansas City, just 5
minutes from the historic Country Club Plaza.
In 2001, Phil has added to the fur business his long time passion of
selling late 19th & early 20th century art. This part of the web site is
